Race Sweep

Race Sweep will be on bike. This role requires a great deal of patience, communication, and course knowledge. The Race Sweep will sweep will follow our final 10K athlete for the first 1/2 of the 10K course. Once the final 10K athlete has passed through Aid Station 1 for the second time the Race sweep will be responsible for following our final 10K and 5K athlete.

Direct and assist Half Marathon participants with crossing New Liberty and staying on 7th street. This is a high traffic area with the traffic circle near by. This is a rules of the road race to please make sure runners stop if there is traffic, allow traffic to go, and then let participants proceed with safety.

Multiple Duties:
1) Assist half marathon participants that are running northbound on Covered Bridge Parkway with crossing New Liberty to turn (R) and run east along the north side of New Liberty Road. Participants will be running on the northbound side of Covered Bridge Parkway
2) The same two course marshals will be assisting 5K participants with crossing New Liberty both on their way out from the start/finish (outbound) and in to the start/finish(inbound). The 5K route is an out and back.
